Data - Synchronize computers
Data transfer Nautilus IV Driver edition allows the driver to transfer data from one compute to the other. This is handy when the drive has a spare laptop in his or her truck, or when the driver has a desktop computer at the house and wants to have a copy of his trip data stored on the house computer.
The data transfer is achieved connecting both machines on the same network and setting up one computer to send data while the other is receiving it.
Set up Nautilus to accept incoming data:

Go to "Tools & Settings" / "Data backup / Synchronization" / "Receive data". Click on "Prepare this computer to accept data" button and the receiving computer will start broadcasting to the network announcing that it is here and ready for the incoming data.

For those of you who are tech-junkies: The broad cast is on port 7778 and data transfer is on port 1618, make sure those two ports are open on your personal firewall for data transfer to succeed.
Set up Nautilus to send data to another computer: Go to "Tools & Settings" / "Data backup / Synchronization" / "Send Data"

After the receiving computer is setup to accept the data click "Look for receiving computer" button (1) on the machine that will be sending data out. It will listen to the ping beacon sent by the receiving computer and once it finds it the compute address will appear in the field (2). The machine will announce that it is ready to transfer data. Click "Push data to remote computer" to start the data transfer.
The data transfer will work only if:
- Both machines have a valid purchased license for Nautilus.
- The license has to be for the same person. The data transfer will not push data to machine that is licensed to another driver.
- The build number of both installations must match.
