Owner Operator - Company driver
Owner operator or Company Driver
This software can be used in Company
Driver or Owner operator mode. The key difference is math for the
totals and availability of the Invoice feature
Switching between the Company Driver
and Owner Operator modes is done under [Tools & Preferences /
Driver Information] screen:

When this setting is changed the
software have to be restarted for the mode switch to take effect.
Owner Operator mode
This trucker accounting software was
designed for the owner operator. While the company driver mode is
available, the main features of this software are written with the
owner operator in mind as you can see from the feature list to the left.

All of the Expenses incurred by
the company driver, including Fuel and Lumping are
reimbursable by the company and therefore added to the Trip
pay; (If the expense is not reimbursable it is up to the driver to
enter or not enter them for his or her own records, any and all expenses can be
included or excluded from the [Settlement]
printout.)
The software does not display any of
the IFTA or Invoice features in company driver mode because they are irrelevant to the company driver.
Other then that the software works in exactly the same way whether you are an Owner Operator or Company driver. The goal of this software is to help the driver to track his or her expenses, take a look at a glance at the business and help with tax preparation.
