Software to use in your truck

Preferences - Equipment

The Equipment screen allows you to modify properties of the existing truck and trailer records. To add a new truck or trailer use the "New" button on the [Trip Sheet - Load Information] screen.

Most time these properties are used to edit the Last PM service odometer reading, Last Grease odometer reading and last recorded odometer. The same is true for the APU hours and Reefer hours on the trailer.

When you create a service record for the unit the last PM, Last Grease, Last APU service and Last reefer service values are incremented if the value (hours, miles or kilometers) is grater then the last known value. If by some mistake you enter too high of a number, (1,500,000 instead of 150,000) you can change those values here and then reload the current trip to reset the counters.

The Alert display properties allow you to set your desired service interval or disable the alert all together.

The license plate information is printed only on the Load Assignment print out.

Alerts will work properly only if the driver records the odometer readings on the [Trip Sheet - Odometer] screen and maintenance on the [Maintenance] screen.

The software allows you to setup your truck record properties to accept Miles (default) or Kilometers. If your truck record was initially set to use Kilometers you can not change it. Enter everything in KM as it shows on your odometer. The same is true if your truck record was initially set to use miles - record everything in miles as shown on your odometer.
